Peer review policy
Europa XXI adheres to a double-blind reviewing policy in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties.

In the first stage editors of Europa XXI do a preliminary review of articles and reject articles that in their view will not successfully pass through the reviewing process. After this stage, manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent referees (affiliated to a foreign institution). The review form is published on the journal website. The review is concluded by a clear opinion whether the article may be published in the journal.

Once a year the editors publish the list of the reviewers involved in preparing volumes.
